The 2021/22 Visitor Guide will build upon the momentum of the design change f rom last year. Although it wasn’t the regular visitor kind of year, the new look and feel of the Gabriola Visitor Guide received great reviews.

This year there will be some tweaks to make it even better and there is also a 10% reduction for advertising reflected in this years pricing to help offset costs for our Chamber members. (Non-members pay 30% more).

“Turning the off-season on” is the focus. Bringing opportunities for warmth and nourishment of the body, mind and soul. Beaches to yourself and woodstoves. An abundance of learning opportunities and ways to expand your horizons.

We will aim to educate our visitors with a genuine request to take care and walk thoughtfully while visiting. The brochure will communicate to all visitors, especially in the summer with fire bans, water restrictions and ferry etiquette, that the island culture and ecosystems are a unique balance and worth respecting.

The launch of ‘Turning the off season ON!’ tourism promotion takes centre stage.

(postponed due to pandemic).

Fall/winter promo focus with ways to connect with our artists, creators, innovators and makers.

Packages for winter retreats will be available online.
Visitor Guide will be available at hellogabriola.ca

The Gabriola Chamber’s Visitor Guide is the most widely distributed publication for our island. Our tourism partners and visitors enjoy the informative, educational and useful guide each year. The Chamber is happy to work with you for payment options and instalment plans.

We can also offer text content development for your business and our graphic designer, Patrick Belanger of Drifter Media would be happy to help design your ad for a small additional price.
